Forum: feature_films Subject: About the "Drive-in Project"

In a not-so-recent post a while back, I threw out the idea of uploading some drive-in clips so some of the more creative dvd makers among you could make your own "drive-in double feature" dvds, and some of you folks seemed to take interest in it. Well, since I've been working on this project, the editing process has taken a bit longer than I originally thought it would. There is a lot of source material to work with, so creating all the little clips has taken a lot of time. I also have a regular daytime job so I do what I can in my spare time.
But I'm glad to say that I've got quite a bit of work done and I'll be finished editing my material real soon, a week, maybe sooner. I won't start uploading until it's all done, but when I do, here's what's coming;
First, the announcement clips. I'll have these all edited down to individual little files, like "coming attractions", "starts Wednesday", or "don't forget to replace the speakers". Many of these clips will have very short running times, about 4 seconds or so. Hopefully they'll go to the feature films section, but to make them easier to find, I'll title them "Drive-in This" or "Drive-in That" and on the details page I'll leave suggestions for how to use them.
Then I'll have a whole bunch of trailers and intermission films put up and, finally, more feature films lined up, many of them being horror or scifi, but also three westerns and four juvnile delinquent flicks in the mix.
So hold on, I'll have 'em all up soon.
